01. What is your pen name?

02. What made you choose this name?
Well at first my nickname with my internet friends was Naraku. Yes, we did the whole InuYasha thing, we're lame. It was then shortened to Naru as a way to annoy me. It eventually grew on me, and I'd rather be called that than the dreaded 'Bre'.

03. Do you use PC or Mac?
PC.

04. What programs do you use most often?
Word Pad, Adobe Photoshop Elements 3.0, and my expired openCanvas trial.

05. Do you use mouse, or tablet?
I used to use a mouse. I got fed up and bought a tablet.

06. What color or color combinations do you find yourself using most often?
Dark greys, black, white, and red. Hello, Mr. Orgo 8D

07. What part of a picture do you put most effort into?
The human figure.

08. How long does it take you do draw a picture?
It depends on my want to draw the picture. If I'm totally uninspired, like I am now, it takes longer. Of course, this is assuming my lack of inspiration will allow me to draw in the first place.

09. Do you keep your rough drafts?
Yeah, they're scattered around my house in various locations. I save some of them if I don't color over them on the computor.

10. What font do you use most often?
Arial, Century Gothic, and Verdana.

11. When you scan your image, what DPI do you use?
I don't even know what the fuck that means

12. Do you do anything else when you're drawing?
Listen to music, space out, and apparently I squeal when I mess up. Or grunt. I just now noticed this.

13. Approximately how many pictures do you draw in a month?
Uhm. Not a lot. Three? I'm working on projects in Drawing and Paiting. I just finished a three piece project. So, three in a month .

14. What kind of paper do you draw your pictures on?
Regular 8x11(?) computer paper, or whatever paper Mrs. Amick says we're using. I feel retarded, I can't remember the size of paper

15. What kind of paper do you use for rough sketches and drafts?
Computer paper.

16. How long does it take you to ink something?
Hah. As if I ever ink anything.

17. Do you do comics, or fan comics?
Neither. I'd like to start doing comics. Unfortunately, they're more fun to read than to make.

19. Have you ever submitted anything to a magazine?
Nope. I'm considering drawing something for Graphiti, my highschool's art and literature magazine.

21. Who are your favorite artists?
On deviantART: Anna Rigby (Cyzra), Wen-m, Rynnay, and Sakimichan. They all make me want to stop drawing .

I think some of my favorite famous artists are Frida Kahlo, and George Broque(?). We're starting Cubism in D&, I just learned about him today

22. Do you like anime/manga? If so, what are your favorite series?
Yes, I do. Wolf's Rain, Neon Genesis Evangelion, BLEACH, NARUTO, Vampire Knight, xxxHolic, Blood+, DNAngel, Chrono Crusade, Trinity Blood, Hellsing, Dragon Ball Z, Sailor Moon, Code Geas, Fullmetal Alchemists, Black Cat, and that's all I feel like naming for now. Yes, I'm a lame

23. Do you like cartoons/comics? If so, what are your favorite series?
I like some webcomics. I am still just a big kid at heart. I love most of the cartoons on Cartoon Network, and Boomerang takes me way back, yo.

24. Any artists that you wish you could draw like?
Wen-M. The amount of detail in his pictures is ridiculously amazing. Very appealing to the eye, and I often find myself trying to see the theme behind most of the clothing or something, like when he bases it off hearts or skulls. I wish I had the skin shading technique, and clothing design ideas that Anna Rigby has. She was my favorite artist on Elfwood.

25. Do you read a lot of books?
Not as manyor as often as I used to. I did read Brave New World over the summer. I recommend it. The only problem with this book is that the plot doesn't move along until chapter seven and its trivial day-to-day life in the "Civilized World" until then. But, oh my Ford is it a brilliant book.

26. Did you ever buy a book to inspire or teach you to draw?
I got one for Christmas and a cartoon book when I was like 8. The former of the too is much more helpful and I reference from time to time.

27. Any video games you enjoy?
Hecks yes. I had a ps1 until, like, a year ago or something in February when i got a ps3, so I enjoy a lot of old games. I also play some of my brother's games on Wii. Legend of the Dragoon (this game was friggin' amazing, and just imagine it with better graphics if they did a remake), Spyro the Dragon, Spyro Year of the Dragon, Crash Bandicoot, Crash Bandicoot 2, Rayman, Final Fantasy XII, Heavenly Sword, Spyro the Eternal Night, Guitar Hero (I fail), Rockband (Can only manage the singing), Wii Sports, and Super Paper Mario Brothers.

28. Any favorite characters from video games?
Fran, Balthier, Dart, Rose, Lavitz, Kai (Twing-Twang), Spyro, Crash, Tippi, and Blumiere.

29. Do you have a favorite writer?
Edgar Allan Poe, Harper Lee, and some others from books I can remember.

30. Any books you really enjoy?
To Kill a Mockingbird, The Harry Potter series (shuddup), Brave New World, and other books I can't remember the names to.

31. Do you draw fanart?
Not really.

32. Do you listen to music while you draw?
Alll the tiiime.

Wait and Bleed, Pschosocial and Duality by Slipknot. Inside the Fire, Alive, Meaning of Life, Deceiver, and Down With the Sickness by Disturbed. Doomsday, Her Portrait in Black, and Bleeding Mascara by Atreyu. Coming Undone, Thoughtless, Ever Be, Twisted Transistor, and Throw me Away by Korn. Some Apocalyptica, lots of Tool, and things of that sort.

DEXTER. I love, love, love, love, love Dexter. I enjoy Californication, and NCIS. I don't wantch all that much TV anymore. AT least it seems like it.

Red. Most dark shades of colors.

I like to pretend I can write. I think my writing is absolutely horrible. I used to roleplay, but I have quite the inferiority complex and some people can become snobs. I also don't like it when people get obsessed with it and ignore friends or something like that. So as much as I used to love it, I have a slight hatred of it and sometimes a yearning for it. For now though, I'll stick to my little ramblings in Word Pad.

I enjoy a good movie.

Oh yeah. Every time.

67. Are there any situations in which you really don't like being an Artist?
Yes. When I can't draw, when people are hovering over me, and when my friends quit 'cause they see my drawings and think their drawings are crap . Stop fucking doing that please. It makes you not want to draw, and me not want to draw. Understand that everyone has their own fucking style, get over it, keep trying to improve. Most of my friends who do that haven't been drawing as long as I have and it psisses me off like no other.

68. How about situations that make you love it?
I ain't even gonna lie. It's the praise and accomplishment of drawing something. For example, my art teacher is recommending me for the Pennsylvania Governor's school in Erie. This would put to rest my tiny want to go to an art college when I'm older. Of course, this is assuming I get accepted.

69. What's the one thing that makes you grateful that the internet exists?
My friends and stuff I've learned art-wise.

70. Is there anything out there that makes you wish the internet didn't exist?
Oh God, almost everything. Art thieves, stalkers, pedophiles, the obsessive almost religious popularity with Myspace and Facebook even though I have both.

Oh God, yes.

I just sit there and listen to music then try in a day or two.

I just always remember having lots of crayons and coloring books and wanting to draw stuff

Like right now? I'm so uninspired. I just want to quit. I just, I don't even know. I feel tired? Whatever.

I'm taking Drawing and Painting right now. I won't be attending and art school though, just the governor's school if I'm lucky.

No.
